VINTAGE THAI / BURMESE EMBROIDERY TAPESTRY WALL HANGING
This beautiful vintage wall hanging was elaborately hand embroidered. The rich intricate thread work shimmers with hundreds of tiny sequins, metal beads, as well as the tiny metallic threads interwoven with the softly hued cotton threads.
Velvet background. The Burmese figures are each elaborately designed and stuffed for a three-dimensional effect. The entire heavy piece and would make a perfect decorative wall hanging piece.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with some snags and pulls in the embroidery and a few of the sequins, beads, etc. pieces missing.
