    Description

    Beautiful and unique vintage Siam brass and rosewood sitting Buddha or
    sitting goddess sauce heart-shaped spoon.
    Based on designation "Siam" on the handle of the spoon, the spoon is likely
    from the
    40s or 50s insofar as Siam was renamed Thailand on June 23, 1939
    .
    (Though the name 'Siam' lingered due to the popularity of the play, The King
    and I (or Anna and the King of Siam) in the 50s.
    The spoon measures 5" in length and 1-3/4" wide.
    The spoon is in good condition though there are areas of discolorations on the brass and there are small chips-the larger about 4 mm as shown in photo 4 and a smaller one at
    about 1 mm in photo 5.
