This 34X42” tapestry has padded figures sewn to a decorated background fabric using metallic and cotton threads and adorned with sequins, beads, and glass stones (a few stones missing).
Mounted for wall display on an easily removable foam backing, weighing approx 7lbs.
The craftsmanship places it around the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. The strikingly singular attraction of this piece is the
mysterious flying elephant.
