    Vintage Chiengmai Doll - "The Long Fingernail Dance"
    This doll is in excellent vintage condition. Her arms and elbows are flexible so you can move them in different
    positions
    . She is wearing elegant Northern Thai Folk clothing and her hair is in a braided bun with a beautiful decorative hair wrap that you can see in the pictures. She is adorned in a fancy Pink Shirt with a black skirt that has yellow, pink, silver and green colored stripes. A shiny metallic colored scarf and pink chain necklace complete her outfit. Her fingernails are made of a light spiral metal - and of course she has heavy make-up and bare feet that are essential to performing the long fingernail dance. The doll itself is cloth over a sturdy material that keeps her in such wonderful condition. She was handmade and built to last! Made in Chiengmai, Thailand & brought to the US by the estate sale owners during an overseas vacation.
    The Solid Wood base has no bottom surface wear. There is a sticker along the side of the wood base that says "THE LONG FINGERNAIL DANCE" and another sticker/label on the opposite side that says "CHIENGMAI DOLL" with the address of her origins underneath: "49/1 Kaew Navaral Rd. Chiengmai, Thailand".
