WOVEN SILVER BELT
I bought this silver belt in the 1980s in Chiengmai, Thailand, traditionally worn by a woman wearing a pah sinn or silk sarong. The work is really quite amazing, & the buckle with its small roses & swirls is quite extraordinary. I think it is 80% silver, not sterling because sterling is too soft for a belt. It is 29 1/2" long & 1 1/2" wide, the buckle measures 2 1/2" x 2", weight 1lb 8ozs...
