This is an INCREDIBLE 1960's Vintage Set of 5 Siam Thailand Bangkok Dolls, PLUS a copy of the Ramakien Book (1993), which tells the story of these character dolls.
Purchased in the 1960's in Thailand by my grandparents, they have been carefully heirloomed in acid-free tissue paper, so their colors stay true. I did not take them out of the boxes for pictures, because they are ready to ship. They are labeled "Bangkok Dolls" on the bottom of their wooden stands. The painting of the masks done in the 1960's is far more detailed and intricate than the newer versions of these dolls. Absolutely beautiful!! Dolls measure 10"-13" high

The gold on the masks and headdresses are fairly fragile given their age and had been repaired at some point. The gold ear of the Green Monkey mask has fallen off, but all the pieces are included. Once in their final destination, it can be easily repaired with a toothpick and some glue.
