OK, here's the deal... I just got back from a trip to Laos where I was fortunate enough to find a few authentic Yao Hill Tribe handmade wood & bamboo crossbows. This piece is entirely hand made from all natural wood and bamboo, even the cord is made from very strong and durable bamboo sinew. Believe it or not, primitive crossbows like this are still made and used by various hill tribes throughout Southeast Asia to hunt all shapes and sizes of prey. I got all that I could find during this last trip and I don't know when or if I will be able to find more. If you like it I suggest you buy it now.
