Baan Celadon Green Elephant Teapot and Teacup/Saucer Set

Description

One lovely set of Baan Celedon hand made pottery for having tea. The set includes one teapot, teacup, and saucer. All pieces are stamped with the maker's mark on the bottom. The glaze is a beautiful Jade coloring. The teapot is adorned with a bamboo covered handle and includes the inner tea strainer. The teapot measures 7" x 5.5"; the plate is 6.25" x 5.5"; and the cup is roughly 4.5" x 3.25". All items have the signs of aging glaze, indicating older dates of production. The maker's mark has a website listed, so these items should not be considered vintage; however, they can be considered rare regarding the maker. The items originate from Thailand. Due to the crackling of the glaze it is recommended to use the items as a décor piece rather than for eating/drinking. Minor wear on the bottom of each item from use. No other visible damage.
